2nd graders will learn about young activists and how they can speak up for themselves by creating a poster that spreads a positive message.

Say Something
Students learn about young activists and how kids can speak up for things they care about to make a difference. Students get inspired to become their own activist.

Brainstorm
Using a worksheet, students brainstorm things they care for themselves, the school, and others. Students take their ideas and create potential phrases for their posters.
03
Poster
Students design their posters, thinking about things that would catch people's attention. Students embellish with details (beads, construction paper, pom moms, etc), use colors, shapes, and patterns.
